Church and Castle of Spiez

The Romanesque church is located not far from the castle. Today, the castle houses a museum and an exhibition tracing the history of its inhabitants, of Bern, of the Confederation and of Europe. Highlights include the medieval keep, the castle kitchen and the great hall. The church, built in Romanesque style, has a simple interior. It is decorated with murals dating from the 17th century and a raised choir. The park and garden of these fortresses can also be visited all year round.
